Baseballs:

8 IP, 0 ER, 1 BB, 4 K's
**Aaron Laffey- I wonder how much better our starting pitchers would have been if Aaron had been healthy all season, because for his starts this year, he has been good. 8 innings, a season high and career high for him. He gave up 1 run (0 earned), he walked 1 and struck out 5. For now, he is the best starter we have. Aaron now has a 3.58 ERA.
**Trevor Crowe- Okay, I will admit it, I wasn’t a big Trevor Crowe fan earlier in the season, but his last trip to Columbus has paid off for him. He went 2-3 with a walk and drove in his 7Th run. Trevor is now hitting .221.

3-3, 2 RBIs, 1 2B, 1 HBP
**Asdrubal Cabrera- The most improved hitter in the Majors did it again, he went 3-3 with a sacrifice fly, driving in 2 runs, giving him 45 RBIs. Cabrera got hit by a pitch and he is now hitting .305.
**Grady Sizemore- Gradey set the tone early, finishing up 3-5 and drove in 2 runs, giving him 56 RBIs. Grady is now hitting .233 on the season.
**Shin-Soo Choo- Choo went 2-5 at the plate with a double and 2 more RBIs, giving him 61 on the season. Choo is now hitting .293.
**Jamey Carroll- He didn’t get any hits tonight, but he made his presence felt. Jamey was 0-1, he walked 2 times and drove in his 17Th RBI of the season with a sacrifice fly. Jamey is hitting .287.
**Chris Gimenez- Walked 2 times tonight.
**Jess Todd- Made his Indians debut and he didn’t disappoint. Came into the 9Th inning and threw a scoreless inning, giving up a hit, but struck out 1. Jess now has a 6.75 ERA.
**Orlando Cabrera- Cabrera was the one Twins hitter doing some damage, he finished up 3-4 with a double and he is hitting .288.
**Joe Mauer- Joe went 1-3 with a walk tonight, he is hitting .359.
**Jose Mijares- Threw a scoreless 7Th inning, striking out the side. He has a 2.65 ERA.
**Matt Guerrier- Threw a scoreless 8Th inning, striking out the side. Matt has a 2.05 ERA.
1/2 Baseball, 1/2 Goofball:
**Francisco Liriano- He lost his 11Th game of the season, but he kept his team in the game. He lasted 5 innings, giving up 4 runs (4 earned), he walked 4 and struck out 4. Francisco now has a 5.63 ERA.
Goofballs:
**R.A. Dickey- The game was still close at the time, but he gave up 3 runs (3 earned) in 0 innings. Dickey walked 1 and he now has a 4.62 ERA.
**Bobby Keppel- Bobby threw 1 inning, giving up 1 run (1 earned), he walked 1 and didn’t strike anyone out. Bobby now has a 5.18 ERA.
**Twins Offense- Considering how good they were last night, tonight they had no answers against Laffey. 1 run on 7 hits and only 1 walk. They left 7 men on base and only threatened 1 time.
**Joe Mauer- Had 2 passed balls tonight, giving him 7 on the year.
**Carlos Gomez- Committed his 1st error of the season.
**Jhonny Peralta- Struck out 3 times tonight after going 0-5. Jhonny is now hitting .273.
**Chris Gimenez- Committed his 1st error of the season.

On Deck:
I have to say this, I hope tomorrow afternoon’s game is close. I say that because the last 3 games the Indians played, they won Sunday 11-1, only to lose last night 10-1, and then they won tonight 8-1. So going by that logic, we will lose tomorrow 12-1. I hope I am wrong, because we need Kerry Wood to get into the game and I hope it’s a save situation. Tomorrow’s game starts at 12:05 PM, airing on STO, with Indians On deck at 11:30 AM. Nick Blackburn (8-5, 3.83) will take on Fausto Carmona (2-6, 7.13). Let’s get this win, it will be on WTAM 1100-AM if you can’t see the game on TV. Let’s go Tribe.
