Baseballs:
**Ryan Rayburn- Drove in the winning run after his 3-6 evening, driving in his 29Th run of the season. Ryan is now hitting .263.
**Rick Porcello- Didn’t get the decision, but threw a career high 8 innings, giving up 1 run (1 earned), he walked 1 and struck out 3. Rick now has a 4.36 ERA.
**Miguel Cabrera- Miguel went 3-6 and he drove in his 58Th run of the season. Miggy is now hitting .336.
**Marcus Thames- Walked 2 times tonight and scored a run. After his 0-2 evening, Marcus is hitting .259.
**Ryan Perry- Threw a scoreless 10Th inning, he didn’t walk anyone and struck out 1. Ryan now has a 3.63 ERA.
**Bobby Seay- Wound up winning the game after his scoreless 11Th inning, he struck out 1 and now has a 3.21 ERA.
**Zach Miner- Earned his 1st career save, despite giving up 1 run (1 earned), he has a 4.58 ERA.

6 IP, 2 ER, 4 BB, 3 K's
**Jeremy Sowers- The same old story, for the first 4 innings, he was incredible. He lost some steam in the 5Th inning and survived the 6Th. In all, he threw 6 innings, giving up 2 runs (2 earned), he walked 4 and struck out 3. Jeremy didn’t get the decision, and he now has a 4.95 ERA.
**Asdrubal Cabrera- Cabrera got it going in the 9Th inning hitting his 4Th triple of the season. Asdrubal later scored the tying run and he finished up 2-5 and is now hitting .298.

1-4, 2 RBIs
**Jhonny Peralta- Jhonny went 1-4 and drove in 2 runs, giving him 55 RBIs, he drove in the tying run in the 9Th inning with a sacrifice fly. He is hitting .271.
**Justin Masterson- Showed the promise he can give us tonight in his Indians debut. He threw 3 scoreless innings, he walked 1 and struck out 4. Justin now has a 4.32 ERA.
**Trevor Crowe and Jamey Carroll- Both went 2-5 tonight, Trevor in particular had some good at bats. Jamey is hitting .289 and Trevor is at .211.
**Wyatt Torregas- He picked up his 1st Major League hit and 1st Major League RBI tonight after going 1-5. Wyatt is hitting .200.
**Kerry Wood- Continued the scoreless string going tonight by throwing well in the 10Th inning. Kerry has a 5.11 ERA.
**Joe Smith & Tony Sipp- Both threw a scoreless 11Th inning, Joe with 2/3 of an inning and Tony striking out Curtis Granderson. Joe has a 3.70 ERA and Tony with a 5.40 ERA.
Goofballs:
**Jose Veras- It didn’t bother me that he gave up 1 run on a hit, fine, but what totally bothered me was he gave up another run, the key run on a balk. Unacceptable. So Jose threw an inning, gave up 2 runs (2 earned) on 2 walks and 1 strikeout. Jose now has a 6.52 ERA.
**Indians Offense- Boy, they surely had some chances to win this game, and right now this is where we miss Victor Martinez the most. Our 6-9 lineup is a bit underwhelming. I still have no clue why we don’t have Matt Laporta up here, I mean we don’t need 14 pitchers anymore.
**Fernando Rodney- Blew his 1st save tonight, he gave up 1 run (1 earned) in 1 inning he didn’t walk anyone and struck out 1. Rodney has a 3.60 ERA.
**Miguel Cabrera- Committed his 7Th error of the season.
**Adam Everett- Committed his 11Th error of the season.

Indians record after 104 games in 2008: 46-58
Indians record in one run games in 2009: 15-14
Indians Quality Starts in 2009: 45
On Deck:
It’s stupid not having Matt Laporta up here right now, especially with 14 pitchers. Yes, the Indians called up Jensen Lewis today, along with Justin Masterson. I am not saying that Laporta is the end all be all offense that we need, but he couldn’t hurt, and we could actually see what he can do in the final 2 months of the season because lord knows we need to find out who can contribute for us next season NOW. So with this loss, we can still take the series with a win tomorrow. Game starts at 1:05 PM, airing on WKYC TV-3 and STO, with Indians On Deck at 12:30 PM. Armando Galarraga (5-9, 4.84) will take on Carl Pavano (8-8, 5.66). The game will air on WTAM 1100-AM if you can’t see the game on television. One more thing, Victor Martinez made his Red Sox debut tonight, he went 1-5 and drove in a run. He looks weird in a Red Sox uniform. Let’s go Tribe.
